Hi Buddy:-
Here it is. It's the big news everyone has been waiting for. It
has just been learned from General Headquarters that the 150th
Engineer Combat Battalion will definitely establish a BEACH HEAD
at Hartford, Connecticut this year.
From this outfit's past history, the High Command has the utmost
confidence that this mission will be the most successful the 150th
Engineer Combat Battalion has ever been assigned to accomplish.
We took Boston, Massachusetts; New York City; and Providence,
Rhode Island with great success. Let's continue with our splendid
record and make our stand at Hartford a smashing VICTORY.
The dates are May 12th and 13th, to be held at the Hotel Garde.
All Business Matters will be transacted on the eve of the 12th.
Let's endeavor to make the attendance at this meeting the greatest
ever.
Be a DIPLOMAT Friday night at the meeting. Be yourself after
that.
A Magnificent Chow has been planned for the 13th.

every one of you to renew old acquaintances and hash over old
