150TH Engr. Combat BN. Association1943-1994 (51 Years) MAY 11th - 13th Forty Eighth Annual ReunionThe returns are coming in and we are ahead of last years reservations at this time. Approximately two thirds of the people are arriving on Monday May 9th, so once again we are looking forward to a GREAT REUNION. In my first letter many names were mentioned, but I omitted the ones that live nearby and attend practically every year. From CT. Ed Bigenski, Milt French, Walt Kulowiec, Mike Luciano, Norm Southergill, Joe Calve, Pat Capperelli, Fran Copeland, John Gdovin, Henize Kahl, John Meli, Armand Pouliot, and Bob White. From MASS. Henry Bunton, Dick Cutcliffe, Lou Deprato, Jim Feeney, Geo Hantis, Pinky Harris, Blake Hughes, Tony Jackett, Al Landano, Carlton Leach, Joe Lenza, Ted Lodi, Bob Mahoney, Tony Pinto, Bob Pitts, Paul Routhier, Joe Statz, John Ventura, Geo Vierra, William Wheet, and Arthur Mawson. From R.I. Charlie O'Meara. From N.H. Charlie Tommasi. In my first letter I failed to mention that Shoreway Acres has installed an elevator to the dining room, which was a concern for some of us last year. Another mistake I made was not giving instruction for those coming only to the banquet Thursday evening. For those attending the Thursday night banquet ONLY, please fill out the reservation form and mail it to CURTIS F. SHAW 25 SAGAMORE ROAD, WEST YARMOUTH, MASS. 02673. Make check payable to the 150th ENGR C 'BN. for $50.00. This will pay for everything (meals/dues/hospitality rm/etc.) The price for a guest is $35.00. Enclosed is the menu for Wednesday & Thursday evening. On arriving please inform Shoreway Acres of your selection. The meals last year were TOPS. Also remember to B.Y.O.B. to the dining room. This year Shoreway Acres will help us to plan side trips by bus, boat, or train if there is an interest shown by our group. The hospitality room will be open starting Monday noon for the early arrivals and will stay open through Thursday evening. This year Vinny Dellova & John Disalvo will be your hosts. (Eddie Borge & John David will be around, but will be taking a long needed rest.) We are getting a special rate for Monday & Tuesday night $31.00 plus tax. We will do the same as last year and go out to nearby places to eat. This year there are two different room rates and you can pick out your room, but it is a first come first serve as there are many different choices of rooms. We are once again looking forward to meeting you on Olde Cape Cod. Remember to get your reservations in by April 11th P.S. The semi-annual buisness meeting will be held on Saturday, 7:30 PM April 9th at The American Legion "Tutle Post" Rt #12 Auburn, MA - Take exit#10 off Mass Pike. |
